Burlington Community Foundation

Grants

The Burlington Community Foundation awards grants to local not-for-profit organizations holding charitable registration numbers with Canada Revenue Agency (or sponsored by an organization with charitable registration). The charities must also be in good standing with the Canada Revenue Agency.

The Burlington Community Foundation invites applications from organizations in Burlington that work in a wide variety of charitable fields, including health and social services, the arts and culture, education, recreation, and the environment.

Grants are distributed in varying amounts as determined by the Board of Directors and Grant Committee. Monies allocated are related directly to the interest earned in any given year.

2. Requests for local chapters of organizations existing primarily to raise funds for health-related research will be considered only if the project provides service/support for patients or caregivers, or specific health promotion initiatives in this community.
