Volunteer Opportunities

The Burlington Community Foundation offers a range of volunteer opportunities. A big part of our organization is carried on the backs of our volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering with the Community Foundation please see the list of volunteer opportunities available below.

Committee Involvement

Getting involved with one of the many committees at the Burlington Community Foundation requires a certain level of commitment. Committee involvement is volunteering at a different level. When you join a committee you work together with other community members to accomplish a project and support on-going initiatives in a team based environment. We are always looking for people to get involved with the Foundation at a different level.

YAC - Youth Advisory Council

If you are a young adult in highschool and looking to get involved and make a difference this is for you! We are looking for concerned students in our community to get involved with our Youth Advisory Council. This council will be a team made up of your peers interested in getting involved in our community. Every year this council will focus on a different initiatives and work together. Projects will be determined by the Youth Council. This is your opportunity to share your concerns and make a difference.

Event Volunteering

The Burlington Community Foundation holds three events annually. For a listing of our events please click here. If you are interested in volunteering at one of our upcoming events please indicate what event you’d be interested in getting involved in.

Administration

We are always looking for administrative help. We are especially busy a month prior to our events and are always looking for an extra set of hands to help out around the office. Administrative volunteer opportunities include the following; data entry, filing, answering phones, coordinating mailing pieces.
